Lilacs are blooming again,
They were my Grandma’s favorite — every spring, Papa would bring her a bouquet, and she’d smile like nothing else in the world mattered.
Losing her at the start of the year left a space I’m still learning to live with.
But when I see lilacs, I feel her close.🌾🤍🌸

Out here, I breathe a little easier.

I feel closer to the people who raised me, the land that shaped me, and the version of myself I don’t always show the world.

Some days I come out here with my camera.

Some days I come out here just to feel grounded again.

And the cattle — moving slow through the brush, watching me the way only cows do — they’re part of that peace too. They remind me of the rhythm I grew up in, the one that still settles me every time I step into the pasture.

Either way, the pasture always gives me exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
This is home.
This is me.🤍
