Here's everyone's favourite little ankle-biter!

Shooting this weekend's PSA trial hosted by Alpha Snails was an intense experience. Y'all really know how to put on a show! I took a measly 13,000 photos, so hopefully I was able to get one or two good ones. ;)

I try not to post the same dog twice, but when I saw this shot I knew Pie deserved a second feature on my page. Some of you would have seen me crouched at the side shooting upwards sporadically during the weekend - it was for this shot alone! Thank you high-flying Pie in the sky for making my hard work pay off.

Practice for the dogs, the humans, AND the photographer!

With dock diving only just coming to the mainland in BC, many teams are only trying this for the first time! And that includes me. This was a great, low-stress way for me to try a new sport.

A benefit to capturing multiple practice sessions is trying out lenses and angles I wouldn't in a normal trial. I never would have dreamed of bringing a 50 mm lens to a trial - but look at this shot! Luna is really sending it!

Are you sure this water's sanitary? It looks questionable to me! (fellow Disney nerds sound off if you get the reference...

HUGE shoutout to Zoro and his people for building this boy up from being unsure about his paws on the wet ramp to jumping off the big dock in a single weekend. It was so much fun seeing his progress and I'm honoured I was able to be part of his cheer squad!

What an event! In addition to weekend-long dock time and a full disc trial, Kelowna Disc Dog Club ALSO had racing practice in the evening! Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph dogs chasing after a toy on a string.

Safe to safe Nougie was ready to hop in the car with his prize.

I spent the weekend in Armstrong photographing dock practices and a little bit of racing as well! It was a really fun, low-stress weekend away while still getting to do what I love. The photos are mostly sorted already (some of you got to see my mobile editing setup!) but now I get to fine-tune and make each photo shine on my home computer.

Thank you once again to the Western Gazehound Club for having me out to capture all the wild dogs chasing after plastic bunnies. My own legs were sore after running back and forth from the end to the middle to the end to the beginning and to the end again multiple times over. 😂
