Spending my afternoon at the cemetery saying goodbye to our Grandma yesterday & then visiting my Dad & Nana while we were there really made the regret that I’ve always had because of the lack of photos that I have with my family, hit very hard.

Sadly, I can’t get the time back from those that are gone, but I can do WAY better with taking photos with the family & friends that we are thankful for every single day!

I don’t care how old you are

I don’t care how much you hate being in pictures

I don’t care if you feel like an idiot taking a selfie in public

I don’t care if your friends or family get mad at you for making them be in the damn picture. Let them get mad

I don’t care if you don’t like your outfits or your hair

And I especially don’t care if you want to lose weight! I hate this reason the most!

What if you put off those family photos for so long waiting to lose a bit of weight and before you know it, it’s too late, something happens to a loved one or to yourself?
Your family wants to remember YOU as you are, they don’t give a s**t if you lose the weight so stop using that as an excuse!

Just because you may not love how you look, does not mean that your friends and family do not get to look back on photos of you when you’re gone. Stop being selfish.

Get in the damn photo. Period.

Theres something so freaking special about those first few weeks at home with a new babe 😍 like if you just ignore the lack of sleep, messy house, spit up, overwhelming emotions, and basically adjusting to this entirely new life of course 🙄😉 but special non the less 🤣

- Holy s**t are these people idiots
- This is a train wreck
- She better not go through with this
- I’m so happy for them!
- I give it a month 🙄

Im not sure how much more I can love and hate a show all at the same time 🤣

I’ll tell you what’s not a train wreck… how stinkin cute and perfect for each other these two are 😍

When I was a teenager I never realized just how badly I was going to need breaks from life as an adult.

Im just going to take a wild guess and say that proooobabblyyy has something to do with the whole not having any real responsibilities, like children and a business at the time🙄

A break doesn’t mean that you aren’t doing an amazing job, because YOU are kicking ass! It also doesn’t mean that you are unhappy with your life or where you are at. A break just means that the ass kicking is hard AF! & sometimes our brain just needs to ignore all of the adult responsibilities for a little while.

I just got back from 3 nights in Whistler with one of my best friends where we ate snacks and junk food like unsurprised children & watch a ton of trash tv. And I HIGHLY encouraging you to take some time for yourself, take a couple of days off. Don’t parent, dont clean … just relax.

From one tired, busy, overworked, overwhelmed, overstimulated adult to another … Your to do list may also be insanely long, but work can wait, your mental health will thank you. 🤍

I know that today I should talk solely about how much these 3 mean to me & how this is the greatest job in the world. Which they do & it is!

But hear me out…

Growing up there wasn’t a single part of me that ever imagined not having kids as an adult! Being a mom was all I ever wanted. I had always dreamed of having 3 kids & I will love them with all I am for the rest of my life!

But I want to talk about the fact that having kids gave me SO much more then just the title of Mom.

These 3 have helped me find myself in ways that I never even knew I could!
They have helped me grow, tested my boundaries, my emotions, my empathy, my patience, my strength, my anger, my pride, my morals, they have taught me to be confident in myself so that I can show them that confidence comes in all shapes and sizes!
They have taught me to forgive when forgiveness feels so far away.
They have shown me how the simplest small things can be the huge things.
They have allowed me to not give AF to a lot of things in the world besides what and who is most important! & they have made me become a better version of who I thought I was because of allowing me to dig deep into my roots!

I thought that all I ever wanted to be was a Mom… but I’ve learned over the last 8 years of being one that I wanted so much more then that. I just needed them to help me find the worth within myself to become more.

Today as a Mom to these 3 beautiful hilarious, fun, spunky, sassy, resilient, sensitive, amazing kids. I am proud to say that thanks to them … I have found me!

Now & forever I will be SO much more then just a mom because although being a mom is & forever will be one of my proudest titles that I could ever give myself… its also just ONE of the titles that I can give myself & that it’s not selfish of me to want more then just that one title! They make me want to continue to be an example that you can be so many things!

Happy Mothers day to all the MOMS in every single form. This is not an easy job & it tests every single part of us. Just remember that EVERY SINGLE DAY, you are worthy, you are special, you are loved and you are SOO much more then you give yourself credit for! ❤️
