My sweet Emilia turned 5 years old last week, and I am in awe of the amazing little person she is becoming. She is feisty, strong, brave, and confident, but also so incredibly understanding and kind-hearted. She’s always there for everyone around her, and her sweet nature brings so much joy to our lives every single day. Her sense of humor, wisdom, and the way she surprises us with her little revelations never fails to leave us in awe.
Emilia is the type of child who genuinely wants nothing more than for everyone to be happy. Her heart is so full of love, and it shines through in everything she does. At her birthday party, I was so touched to see that most of her school friends came to celebrate with her. Those who couldn’t make it called to wish her well, and I thought that was the sweetest thing. It just goes to show what an impact she has on others.
As her mother, I hope Emilia never loses the confidence, will, and incredible kindness she carries with her. I wish for her to continue being the loving, giving person she is and to always follow her heart. I am so proud to be her mom and couldn’t have asked for a sweeter, cooler daughter.
