For those wondering where I've been:
I am at a stage with young kids. I am juggling a million things at once, and to be honest marketting myself on social media isn't something I like doing, and it just happens ro be the ball I keep dropping.
I prefer to be present with people; to have genuine connection. I like to hear their tone, and read their body language to ensure the context of a conversation is taking as it should be.
Social media is a tool. I prefer to keep it as that. Something to be used as needed, but not dependant on. Not something I live my life by.

I am still working. I am still taking bookings. My website and booking platforms are still active. I am just navigating life, work and juggling-all-the-balls a bit differently these days.

Last week we had this little one show up on our back porch. As someone who has lived in the Quinte region for over 30 years, this was the first Opposom I have seen locally. Has anyone else noticed their presence lately?

In an effort to support a local family, we are running Minis to raise money. Each session will be $150 for 20 minutes. $100 from each session will go directly to Charlene to aid in her upcoming costs.

So book now to update your family photos; have a friend session; a quick maternity session; or even spring headshots!

The setup will be in a small local greenhouse.

Charlene Green' s Story:

Hi my name is Charlene Green currently living in Tweed ON and I have recently been told I need a Bone Marrow Transplant in order to live longer than 2 years. I have been diagnosed with Myliofibrosis a rare blood cancer and a mutated gene TP53 which will accelerate my condition to develop into leukemia.

In order for me to receive treatment I will have to live in Ottawa for 100 days with my caregiver in an apartment. There will be many back and forth trips to the Ottawa General Hospital which will require payment for gas and parking and out of pocket expenses to live in the city.

During this time in Ottawa my husband will have to take a compassionate care leave off work to care for our autistic grandson and our two granddaughters at home which will leave us struggling financially.

Having to undergo intensive chemotherapy and radiation and having to uproot myself and a caregiver, I’m hoping this go fund me will alleviate some of the burden on having to move to an unfamiliar city, financially support this move and pay the expenses for 100 days and financially help with the loss of income for my husband.

if you can help in anyway I truly do appreciate it, even if it’s a share.

I’m about to embark on the survival fight of my life to live many more years instead of just two very short years and I’m committed to see my Granddaughter graduate.
