Graduation…

Feels like a lifetime ago, but thinking how it will be 17 years ago this summer, it kind of is!

To think that the graduates of this year would have been BORN the year I graduated makes me feel a *tad* old… not gonna lie.

I still treasure the photos and memories I have from my own graduation, and the excitement of what was to come.

It is so interesting to think about how different my goals and views were from that time until now. To think on what experiences shaped me then, what choices would move me toward where I thought I would go, and who I wanted to be.

To reflect back on what I had envisioned adulthood and my expectations of what life would be like after finishing high school sure is different than what I imagined then, but I’m so grateful that I can look back and be proud of who I was and how far I have come.

Graduates, there is so much of your lives to live. There are so many places that you will go, people you will meet, and things left for you to learn.

I would love to be a part of that momentous journey with you, and capture this small, but very exciting time in your lives.

Books open for Grad 2026!!!

Over the years, I have found it extemely difficult for families (and myself) to facilitate photos on the actual day that grad lands on.

Graduates are busy rushing from one event to another, parents/guardians are organizing meals, coordinating guests, and everything in-between, and no one is happy under that kind of stress.

It is for these reasons that I do not book any sessions ON THE ACTUAL DAY OF GRAD.

I encourage those interested in booking graduation sessions to reach out with any questions you might have!

Something about an in-home mini session just hits different. You’re comfortable. You know this space. You end up seeing your home for what it is- a place where you can be real, relaxed, and recognize that it’s the ones you share it with that make it so special.

I loved my time with these beautiful ladies— and as you can see, no shortage of smiles and laughs with this bunch!
