During the busy holiday season, I found myself lost on the island, camera in hand, exploring the places that shaped my childhood.

This island tells a story, one rooted deep in the land—
its rugged beauty,
the fog blurring the edges,
the familiar scent of salt and seaweed lingering long after you’ve left.
Jagged cliffs shaped by the relentless rhythm of crashing waves.

This place is raw,
wild,
and refuses to be tamed.

I, too, am shaped by this land and forever connected to the island that formed me.

*the last few days have been challenging—I cried a lot 🫠 My teething baby was extremely difficult, and I desperately wanted to finish my website and go live early this week, but she had other plans. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t carve out even ten minutes for myself, so I had to accept it and surrender

So here’s a heartfelt shoutout to all the mamas out there balancing the beautiful chaos of business and motherhood.

I built a brick-and-mortar business in the past with my own hands, pouring countless hours into every detail—drywall, mudding, sanding, painting… all the things. In many ways, creating this business while caring for my baby has been an even greater challenge. The constant pull of motherhood often disrupts my creative flow and leaves me struggling to find my way back to feeling inspired.

To all the creative mamas juggling it all, know that you are not alone—especially during those moments spent sitting on the bathroom floor in tears.
