Grad season has been selectively quieter this year (Insert some very adult speech about work/work/life balance - and all that fun stuff.) But there is, and will always be, a huge part of me that loves my photography. Especially when I get to hang out with fun kids like this one.

I came home to first ensure there were no rattleticksnake bites, and then to immediately load these up - I just knew I needed to see how they turned out.

Thank you for hanging out with me today and a huge congratulations on your graduation.

Did anyone else follow the story about Punch the Monkey? The little macaque that first was abandoned by his mother and then bullied by all the other adult monkeys at the Japan zoo...and his only friend was a stuffed monkey the zookeeper gave him?

Anyways, when I was editing this photo, I realized this little dude was probably thinking of Punch too.

Working on my last South Alberta Hockey Academy team gallery of the season, and feeling pretty grateful for the opportunities I have had this hockey season, not just with SAHA but ALL of the teams that brought me in this year. I will be going through some of my favourites from the season and adding them to my FB album once everyone's galleries have been delivered.

*Not so subtle reminder that you should download and back up your photos asap before they are gone*

Coaches, managers, parents: Thank you for letting me come experience some amazing hockey. I love that I get to spend time doing what I LOVE, while also watching these kids grow and develop as athletes. Thank you for every tag, every post, every recommendation as it helps to support my own athletes at home.

And to each of these players, my goal is for you to have memories of these years that will last a lifetime. That when you look back at that photo, you can remember what it felt like in that moment. And while I don't know a lot of you in person, you should know that I am cheering for each and every one of you...on and off the ice.

It has been a very busy hockey season this year. So many rinks and so many opportunities to watch your kiddos do what they love best. Good luck to all those going into playoffs and thank you for letting me be part of your season...even more to come!
