It’s been a little quiet around here for a while, so I thought I’d better pop in 😄

Life and work and kids… you know how it goes. Seasons, am I right?

But the cool thing is, photography has still been here, chugging away in the background, creating new and meaningful ways to connect with people, cultures, and creation.

Lately, I’ve been getting excited about showing up here more intentionally again - sharing what I’ve been working on, the projects I get to be part of, and the incredible people I get to meet along the way.

The work I love most is still the same: natural, authentic, laid-back, real.

With our students back in the classrooms, I've been thinking about my time in Nicaragua this past spring, where our team visited several schools. While the classrooms look different, teaching methods are different, and subject matter varies, something that made me smile time and time again was the striking similarities between the students in Canada and the students in Nicaragua. The way that they engaged with each other and with their instructors, their enthusiasm for sweets (apparently that's quite universal!), and their highly inquisitive minds - it was all very familiar to me. Some of my favourite questions were when the students would ask me about Canada, how big the country is, what sports we like, and so on.
But the most asked question? "Are you ok?? You are very, very red in the sun!" 🤣 🦞

Here's to another great school year, folks, and yay for fall 😅

It's been one whole year of Miss E. and she gets cuter, sassier, and mischievous...er(?) every day. 🥰
I can't describe how cool it is to see some of my favourite people grow as parents as the years go by. And, to be able to document some of their big moments? What an absolute privilege I have been given!
Truly, it's been (and continues to be) an honour, Melissa & Dave. Thank you.

I love my job, and this past week was another huge reminder as to why.

Working with as one of their contract photographers, I get to travel with different people sharing the Gospel throughout the world. The last week was supposed to be in Newfoundland with a team from Brazil and Canada. Due to the ongoing wildfires in NL, a last minute decision to pivot the team to go to Toronto, instead. It was amazing to watch everyone roll with the changes, and embrace the chaos that came with reorganizing everything within 24 hours. Huge shout-out to everyone involved!

is one of the dear Brazilians that I had the pleasure of meeting, and a huge shout out to him for all of these photos! As the person usually behind the camera, these photos "on the job" - especially this job! - are extra special. Thank you Lucas! You're amazing!

The trip isn't done yet - the remainder of the team is now in New Jersey continuing their work. If you are the praying type, please keep this team in your prayers, as well as all the people they will meet.
