first portrait session of the year, and I was worried I’d be rusty.

I wasn’t.

it comes back like it always does. the quiet of connecting with people, of stepping into their little world for just a moment. the anticipation of a new baby. the warmth of the one they already have. the way two people look at each other when they think no one’s watching.

gosh. I really do get to do this.
