Mother’s Day minis this year were all about celebrating dog moms and the response honestly meant so much to me. I loved getting to create a space where these incredible women could feel seen and celebrated on a day that honours mothers of all kinds, including the ones whose kids have four paws 🐾

Sweet Sarge 🤍

It was such an honour to meet this beautiful boy and his amazing humans.

He crossed the rainbow bridge this weekend and my heart has been with his family ever since. Their connection was so obvious in every moment of this shoot.

This is why Forget Me Not sessions matter so much. Photos together become treasures faster than we ever expect. I’m so thankful we captured these moments.

Thinking of Sarge’s family and sending them so much love. He was a very special boy 🤍

Sneak peek of handsome Waylon 🤎

I had the chance to photograph him and his lovely mom yesterday and my heart is full. Anyone who knows me knows I have a serious soft spot for chocolate labs (and you probably know why). They radiate such joy and you can’t help but smile around them. Waylon was no exception. Even with the chillier weather he was living his best life tossing his toy rabbit around the beach and running in the ocean. We couldn’t keep the smiles off our faces even if we tried 🥰

April has been a busy one over here 🐾

I’ve met some amazing pups lately: Stockli, Harlow, Penny, Sarge, and more to come (plus they’re pretty great humans, of course).

We’ve also been playing a fun game of dodging some very questionable weather in search of golden sunsets… and honestly, they’ve been worth the wait every single time.

I’m already so excited for the summer ahead ☀️

One of the best parts of this job is getting to watch families grow💛

A family I’ve photographed for a couple of years reached out with exciting news… they added a new member to the crew! And of course we had to celebrate with photos.

My first Fur Mama mini session was last night and it was so special 🥹. Jodie and Harlow were just the sweetest and we got the dreamiest light and backdrop. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better start to these sessions.

And tomorrow (Sunday) is looking like another beautiful evening! If you've been thinking about booking a session (Fur Mama minis or anything else), I've got a spot 💛

You know who you are. You rearrange your whole day around their walk and meals. You love them in a way that's hard to explain to people who haven't felt it.

And every Mother's Day, you celebrate everyone around you and quietly wonder if your kind of love counts too.

Let’s go back to when the weather was warmer and running barefoot on the beach was just a typical Tuesday. The Nelson family did just that and Oscar was right there with them; big, goofy, and having the time of his life.

Winter always feels so long. I miss the ocean, the warmth and days that don’t require effort to get through them. Looking back at moments like this reminds me that those days exist and they’ll return in their own time 💛

I finally got to meet Candace and her wonderful crew last week; a household of pups who’ve all been loved back to life by someone with a truly enormous heart.

Our session centered around Azalea, who’s been facing some heart challenges recently. But out there at the beautiful Airbnb they rented, she didn’t let anything dim her spirit.

Photographing her felt like capturing a little piece of joy mid-flight. It was an absolute honour ❤️
