1. You don't need to know how to pose.That's my job! I'll guide you through everything so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

2. Don't stress about your kids behaving perfectly.
They're kids. Let them be silly, curious, wiggly and themselves. Some of the best photos happen in between the poses.

3. Coordinate, don't match.
Think complementary colours, textures and layers rather than everyone wearing the exact same outfit. (see our blog for more on this!)

4. We're not aiming for perfection.
We're creating beautiful photos that actually look and feel like your family.

5. Trust the process.
If I ask you to walk, cuddle, tickle, whisper something ridiculous or look at each other instead of the camera… there's a reason!

Things I wish every mom knew before family photos 🤎

You don’t need everyone looking at the camera.

Your kids don’t have to behave perfectly.

You don’t need perfectly coordinated outfits.

And you definitely don’t need to stress about making everything look “just right.”

Because some of my favourite images happen in the moments in between — the giggles, the cuddles, the chaos, the little looks, the tiny hands reaching for yours.

And Mom… you NEED to be in the photos. ❤️

I know you’re usually the one behind the camera. The one taking the pictures. The one making sure everyone else is included.

But one day, your kids will want to see you there too.

Not just the perfectly posed version of your family.
