🎞️ Film scans from .ca are back, and I can’t stop smiling. There’s something so magical about seeing these moments on 35mm.

Truthfully, I wasn’t sure how the start of my film journey would go. Balancing the rhythm of a wedding day with both digital and film felt pretty daunting. It’s easy to get lost in the fast pace, and I didn’t trust myself that I could slow down enough to reach for the film camera. But now, looking at these scans, I’m reminded why I fell in love with photography in the first place - capturing the feeling, the in-between, the essence.

A huge thank you to my dear friend, .gould, for always encouraging me, trusting me with her precious film camera and allowing me to borrow it for a weekend.

If anyone is looking for me today, I’ll be falling down the rabbit hole of the internet, searching for a film camera of my own. This journey has sparked something special, and now I can’t wait to explore more of this nostalgic and beautiful medium for weddings.
