Capturing the beauty of the natural world through the lens of a Sony Alpha 7 IV. All content captured by me.

I'm a passionate photographer who's all about bringing breathtaking wildlife images into people's homes. My name Is Jordan, I'm 33. I'm extremely passionate about photography, mostly wildlife. I started photography roughly 9 years ago now and haven't looked back. From a young age my Mom taught me to see the beauty in art and the meaning of expressing myself through it. I will always carry on what she taught me through my own work and helping others

Personally for me, I think it adds a creative flair to it almost like a painting—>

Yes, with having OCD with symmetry, some elements bug me like a single tree that’s warped, but this one does not —>

Afternoon swim for a hungry muskrat.

Swam up and down the river and didn’t even care I was there, usually when I’m near the water they scurry away but not this little one!

I met up with Dan Sedran and we literally were just spoke about them, while I ventured back to my car I thought I’d take one last look just to see if there was anything else to capture and there it was!

You couldn’t make it up such perfect timing so I tried by best to get as low as possible for that perfect photo!

After 7 years of having a backyard neighbour I’ve hardly ever seen.

This little one decided it was time we met!

I was having a rough day so I decided to just sit out on the back deck, enjoy some nature sounds and a slight breeze. At first I only saw chipmunk which I went in and grabbed my camera.

After about 40 minutes of sitting in the grass trying to get low angle photos and videos of the chipmunk did I get up to stretch but I found myself back on the grass super quick!

I didn’t realize I saw him but I took another glance and yup the ground hog was poking its head up through the gap in the end of the deck.

I snaked across my deck trying my hardest not to scare it and with a sore back I’ll tell you it wasn’t easy, we stayed with each other for about 10 minutes which felt like hours. Firing off as many photos as possible which is the rookie thing to do but I didn’t want to miss it !

I’m happy to have these ( yes two !! ) ground hog that chose my backyard to have their den in and I purposely don’t cut all my grass so they have something to snack on !

With summer coming to a close, here is another moment that I’ve spent photographing and filming a belted kingfisher. Hope you enjoy.

Sometimes you just need to go for a walk to clear your head —->

What started out as a rainy morning turned into some much needed practice

Lately I have been struggling with photography as a whole. Images not coming out as they used despite using the correct settings —->

Lighting couldn’t be more perfect, overcast not harsh direct sun yet my images still come out either blurry, soft with no detail

But something clicked today and I don’t know what I did differently but these Bonaparte gulls allowed me to capture some inflight shots coming in close and far away to practice more inflight shots

As winter approaches I’m really trying my best to plan outings looking for owls and a dream would be to get a sharp detailed photo of one flying during some snow fall

It’s not every day that you have a small muskrat just swim past you on a public trail without a care in the world.

I have never been good at photographing mammals but I’m giving a crack at it and I’m rather pleased with this shot!

What do you think ?
