It was so nice to get back to doing shoots for people! It's also so nice to see my improvement over time! I couldn't imagine a year ago that I would be able to take photos like this but here I am!

I'm excited to do more shoots and I will be able to offer some in the near future so keep and eye out!

I've decided after recent events that I will be watermarking my photos, just to show that the photo was taken by me. I hope that you like how the photos look even with the text added to them.

I still need to perfect how I watermark images when I know people might post them to sites like Instagram as they will get cropped but I would hate to have to pre-crop the image just to fit on Instagram... but that is just something I will learn with more experience!

After months of being stuck at home, cameraless, I have finally been able to take my camera out to get some new photos!

I hope that as the summer goes on and the province starts opening up again, I will be able to go out and get a lot more new photos!

So... here marks the beginning of my new adventure of photography!

I have graduated from my entry level camera and am now going to be shooting with this professional level camera! (Big thanks to my parents for helping me get my dream camera!)

For those of you that are not camera nerds, this is the Sony a7r III and it is my child!

This is a bossed out camera and I'm so excited to be able to use it in the field! I have been waiting for months, cameraless, for her to get here but HERE SHE IS!

(I think she needs a name, so suggestions are welcome!)

This also means you can all look forward to some new photos on this account so keep your eyes open!

That being said, covid is still a thing so no proper photoshoots until things calm down 🤷‍♀️ more practice and personal works for the time being I guess!

Sometimes we don't have access to a professional camera, but everyone has a camera in thier pocket! Using your phone camera might not get you to the same level of quality or clarity as a DSLR but the cameras on phones these days have become powerful tools. Even professional photographers turn to them for portability and ease of use in certain situations.
