I'm an artist using the medium of photography to capture God's artistry in all of His creations.

mddphotography takes a photojournalistic approach to its photos. Whether it would be weddings (and engagement shoots), portraiture (individual, groups, family or maternity) or other events (sports, travel, galas), the aim of the photograph is to bring the viewer into that place and time the photograph was shot and give insight into the subject matter. Thanks to Tina Wright Day and Meghan Day , I’ve had the honour of being the U21 Stouffville Sharks’ exclusive portrait photographer, capturing portraits for the past four seasons.

It’s always such a fun time and we almost didn’t have this photoshoot due to the rain beforehand. It took a bit of coaxing 😉 and we ventured off to continue the session only to be gifted with a beautiful sunset as a backdrop (and even a rainbow)!

It was so wonderful to hear that the team finished 3rd out of 14 teams and won the bronze in this weekend’s provincial tournament. Way to go!!!

How about a post to warm everyone’s hearts through these cold days?

I had seen Leanna and Kishan through their engagement and then their wedding. And through the years thereafter, keeping in touch with them was so wonderful to see how their marriage blossomed into a beautiful family with very cute kids! Then, I was honoured to be asked to capture, not just any family session, but Leanna’s parents’ wedding anniversary ON the same date!

It was so great to reconnect at the session, even with the addition of Leanna’s sister and grandmother.

The day couldn’t have been more perfect weather-wise; only to illuminate all of their loving souls at a park that Leanna’s family had enjoyed for many years.

Thank you Leanna and Kishan for entrusting me to capture another special moment in your lives! 🙏🏼🥰

It’s still fall until Dec. 20 soo ... why not share a lovely autumn photosession with the Faharat Family!

What’s great about referrals is that when it comes from great clients, you know the next clients will be just as great. Thank you and for connecting me with Emily and JP! What’s even a coincidence / providential ... they both work at the same church my parents got married at!

We took these images on the beautiful grounds of Garrison Common. I hadn’t even known it existed! I’m so glad Emily and JP chose this location for their family session, as it was a perfect backdrop for their uber-cute 5-month old son. He truly stole the show with his cute smiles all because of his wonderful parents egging him on behind me. All in all, it was so fun to capture this family’s joyful smiles.
