A little life update.

I took some time off for a bucket list trip to Japan, and it was honestly amazing.

But getting back into regular life, work, editing, emails, timelines, and content has taken me a little longer than I expected.

So if my feed has been a bit quieter lately, that’s why.

Behind the scenes, I’m back in wedding mode and getting organized for the season ahead. I have engagement sessions, timelines, wedding days, and lots of sweet moments coming up, and I’m really excited to get back into sharing more here.

Also, yes, I still need to get all my Japan photos off my phone. :)

Happy Friday, friends — I thought I’d reintroduce myself. 🤍

I’m Nicole, a wedding and portrait photographer who loves capturing people in the real, beautiful, in-between moments.

A few things about me: I love to read, I love animals, I’m a bit of a gym rat, and when winter comes around, you’ll probably find me skiing.

A few simple things make such a difference:
Keep your list intentional
Choose one helpful person who knows your families
Leave more time than you think you need
I help my couples build these lists ahead of time so we can move through them smoothly and still leave room for genuine moments too.
The goal is not just efficiency. It’s making sure the people who matter most are cared for and included well.
