There’s something almost magical about a baby’s very first cherry blossom season 🌸

At just six months old, everything is brand new and you can see it in her eyes. That wide-eyed wonder, taking it all in.

These blossoms only last a short time each year, but somehow they feel even more fleeting when you’re holding a baby who is changing by the day. One season, one moment, one tiny chapter that will never quite look the same again. And a baby seeing it all for the very first time.

There’s something extra special about photographing a family you’ve grown with 💫

I first met these sweet kiddos when they were just tiny newborns—sleepy, curled up, and brand new to the world. Fast forward to now… 10 and 6, him so grown up and mature, and her so full of bubbly personality. Watching families evolve like this is one of the greatest gifts of what I do.

Reuniting under the dreamy cherry blossoms made it all feel a little magical. These are the moments that remind me why I pick up my camera. Not just to capture how you look—but to hold onto how it feels in this season of your life.

There are seasons in life that deserve to be remembered. First Communion and Confirmation are two of them 🤍

These moments mark more than just a milestone. They reflect growth, faith, family, and watching your child step into something meaningful. The outfits are carefully chosen, the details thoughtfully planned. But it’s the emotion behind it all that truly matters.

From tiny wheels to full-speed fun 🚗

It feels like just yesterday he was snuggled up in his car-themed newborn set… and now here he is—ONE year old and already racing into toddlerhood!

I get a lot of inquiries asking for the price of newborn sessions. I won't argue, cost can be an important factor. However, there are some very Important things to consider, other than price, when choosing a newborn photographer—no matter who you decide to work with:

1) Experience working with newborns
Newborn photography is a very specialized area. Look for a photographer who has dedicated experience working with newborns, understands their cues, and knows how to keep sessions calm, flexible, and baby-led.

2) Newborn safety in posing and handling
Safety should always come first. Your photographer should be knowledgeable about safe posing techniques, proper support, and how to handle and position newborns gently and securely.

3) The style you hope to achieve
Every photographer has a unique style. Some focus on simple, natural images while others offer more styled or posed sessions. Take time to review full galleries to make sure their editing, colours, and posing match the look you envision.

4) The overall experience of the session
Consider what kind of experience you want. Some photographers provide a full-service experience with guidance on preparation, access to props or wardrobe, and a relaxed, comfortable environment designed specifically for newborn sessions.

Taking these factors into account will help you feel confident in your decision and ensure you have a positive experience and beautiful memories of your baby’s earliest days.
