Character Descriptions
MAIN CHARACTERS
Alex Reed: 17 years old. Messy dirty blonde hair, skinny but not bony, a semi “ lazy athletic” build. A smart ass. Seems to be the one making decisions a lot even though he doesn’t want to.
Ingrid Louise: 17 years old. White hair, red glasses, petite build, amazing arm (throwing and aim) straight A student. Been in love with Alex since before she was born.
Raymond Stonem: 17 years old. Has Aspergers, nerdy, weird, little respect for women, bad mannered, h***y, and vulgar. The comedic relief no one asked for.
Old Man Copper: old af, “like an old van helsing” Ex military, wheezing cough, a limp, scratchy old voice. A secret protector of the kids (Alex, Ingrid, and Kirsten), a “come hell or high water” attitude.
Skyler: 22 years old, Asian, sassy le***an, orphan, parkour enthusiast, everyone’s big sister.
Principal Michaels: early 50’s, ex military, a soldier, has PTSD, Stern, emotionless large black man. Deep voice. Famous for his “death stare”.
Mrs. Reed: Alex and Kirsten’s mother. Musician, great sense of humour, sense of honour.
Kirsten Reed: 3 years old. Smart, quiet kid but can be sassy. Amazing at Crazy 8’s. Loves grape flavor.
Uncle Lou: Raymond’s uncle (brother to Isabel) Same family grin and sense of humour (although not as dark as Ray’s) skilled hunter, mechanic, father figure.
Father Luke: Devout Christian. A reassuring voice, faith shaken but never stirred.
John: Husky lumberjack type, a leading voice, quick to anger, likes to keep upstanding appearances, a drinker, can be very threatening.
MEDIUM LINE CHARACTERS
Josh: 16 year old. Young Black man, questions everything, not a tough guy whatsoever.
Leah Copper: late 30’s Old Man Copper’s daughter. Loves her dad, a helper and carer. An artist.
Isabel Stonem: Raymond’s mother, has a tiny English accent from living there for a few years. Sassy and has a sense of humour. Hard worker, farmer.
Arthur: late 60’s, a comforting voice, a veterinarian, does his best to have a calm voice.
River: 24 years old, orphaned with her brother. Mixed race (white and black), girlfriend to Skyler. Political and capable, well organized.
LESSER AND SINGLE LINE CHARACTERS
Farmer: southern elderly man, been working the farm since before you were born.
Madam Lynette: Paris french speaking french teacher. 28 years old, takes special interests in some students.
Mr. Reed: Alex’s father, hard working, carpenter and tech savvy.
News Anchor: stereotypical news anchor.
Mrs. Johnson: Upper class, mother, loves date night, wine, and her minivan.
Mr. Johnson: Upper class, father, stern, lecturer by trade and hobby.
Kirsten Copper: Old Man’s Coppers wife. ( her speaking role is her mid 30’s) passionate, bit of that farmers voice. Would kick your ass. Mother and best friend.
Alice: 16 years old. Shy, cute, innocent voice but can put you in your place. Girlfriend to Raymond.
Mrs. Woolf: English teacher. Very respected and stern, an approval from her is better than a gift from god. But she doesn’t handle the stress of the apocalypse well. (who does?)
Ernie: 15 years old, chunky boy, loves chocolates. Bit of a coward.
Ingrid’s Mother: Dying of cancer… a loving mother, faith in god and his plan.
Ingrid’s father: Hard man, became verbally abusing when his wife was dying and the physically abusive towards Ingrid after she died.
Young Leah: the Copper’s daughter. Sweet and adorable.
Young Alex: He can tie his own shoes.
Martina: 15 years old, Peurto Rican, very shy, hiding something…
Mrs. Cameron: Gym teacher.
Donnie: Football player, nice guy.
Jake Ryan: football player. Do**he bag. Drives a sunfire with flames on the side.
Mickey: Hunter, the dumb one of the group. Clearance little brother.
Billy West: hunter, handsome, lady’s man, more western Canada voice, holds himself well.
Clearance: hunter. chunky loud ginger, town drunk.
Jed: hunter, very tall and lanky, deep dark eyes and voice.
Chet: hunter, the as***le of the group, loud mouth.
Frankie: hunter, super closeted gay, in love with Chet.
Rick: early 30’s, glasses, loves his wife, is very uncomfortable in crowds.
Marvin: late 40’s. Loves milk. Whiny and not the brightest.
Kiesha: Strong black mother of three. Loves soap operas.
Nurse: not good at her job.
Ethal: Grandma death (donnie darko reference)
Anthony Stonem: Raymond’s father. British, straight off the rock londoner. Clever, a jokester but firm. A hard worker. Farmer.
Magness: Billy West’s grandma, sweet old lady, loves her dog Checkers. Is actually pretty content with how things are going.
Brody: 20, surfer dude, smokes pot but has none. Engaged to Becky, stole his military father’s sniper rifle.
Becky: 20, works at city hall, engaged to Brody, in shock pretty much the whole time.
Kyle: Upper class, very gay and flaunts it. Has the same Birthday as Alex. Throw’s awesome pool parties and is a great host.
Tammy: 16, that pink popular girl. You know the one. Rich daddy, bimbo. The school Bitch.
Barbe & RoboBitch: Tammy’s clone bi***es, dumb as rocks.
Mort: Italian big hairy fat dude. Sounds like Watto from Star Was ep1.
Dale: Leah’s boyfriend. Military man. Not the brightest, the golden retriever boyfriend.
Allison Miller: Old Man Copper’s older sister. Think she’s the best, don’t ask about the cow and the pool.
Screaming Guy: finance manager. Saw the infected in the streets and hid for days.
Dan: Civilian soldier, thinks he is above it all because he has a gun and helped clear out the infected from the airport.
Mohinder: 35, from New Delhi, peace maker, very nice man.
Nate: 13, River’s younger brother. Super smart, technologically advanced, creative, future engineer.
Mrs. Thompson: Old lady, very sweet and direct. Everyone’s grandma.
Natalie: 23, was supposed to meet friends for holiday, nice, supportive.
Ted: Depressed due to the loss of his wife, was angry for a while. In a bit of a fog.
Officer O’Neil: greasy rat cop. They don’t get much dirtier than that.
Troy: Wise guy, tattooed and goofy. A guys guy. The cool “big brother”
Mike: his wife died day 1. Not scared of the infected. A good man.
Carl: sexy black man. Bald, muscular, a little quiet but jokes with the rest of the guys.
Scott: pony tail, certified truck driver and forklift operator.
Dingo: 20, guitarist for an up and coming band, blue hair and rockstar attitude.
Sam: 15, scrawny, has an inhaler and glasses, typical nerdy kid. Braver than you’d think.
Coward: kinda buff and stinky. A tough guy who just saw the devil.
Troy’s GF: late 20’s.
Katie: 14, aspiring photographer. Giggly teenage girl.
Joanne: Katie’s best friend, giggly and in awe of “the sex”
Jefferson: needs medicine for his daughter.
Ryan: Young, a ju**ie.
