We use natural & artificial light, aiming for that WOW factor that creates “Art” in our portraits. Those of you that have worked with us know what we mean :).

We have this amazing love of pursuing fine art photography side by side. We have a similar personality, but yet each of us see the world a little bit different when looking through our lenses. With this combination, we have found we compliment each other’s style and bring out the best in each others creativity. While we love natural light and will use it when available

, we also can use any light source to achieve the “look” we are going for, which includes creating our own sun (when the sun is not available). Whether it is light and airy, or dramatic and moody, we aim for that WOW factor, creating “Art” in our imagery that clients can hang proudly on their wall as a conversation piece. We see light “differently” and love trying new ideas that create stunning images, just for you.

When the sun is going down and the light is perfect, what do you get? A great family session!

WIth less than an hour before it got dark, we started photographing Vanessa & Mitch family session. The light could not have been more perfect (did I say perfect...yes, yes, I did :) ) And of course I had a few excitement squeals after the clicks of my camera...lol)

Early last Wednesday evening, we met up with Stephanie and Jamie for a maternity session. Such a fun couple :) Stephanie as usual was beautiful and glowing :) She even made an animal friend with her sweet personality :)

Out and about with portraits. Feels good to get out again :)

We met up with June and Nicolas for their Prom photos. Such a cute couple :) And June looked like a princess. "Elsa" comes to mind.

Cowgirl June

A few days ago, we headed down to Tantramar Marsh for some themed cowgirl portraits with June. As usual, June was great to work with and she went along with our ideas and even put up with the mosquitoes at the last of the session after the sun was sinking in the sky and the moon was rising. The mosquitoes were all out then....lol.

Portraits At The Park

We headed over to the park for some quick photos of my daughter. It was a warm day so we took advantage of it. The light was perfect as it was a couple hours before the sun went down. My daughter loved the part where she was allowed to jump in the air. I think she was trying to see how far she could go.....lol.

Stephanie & Jamie at Fort Beauséjour

On July 5th, we took a trip to Fort Beauséjour, NB to meet up with Stephanie & Jamie to do a portrait shoot.

It was very hot earlier in the day (44°C with the humidity), but went down to 17°C without the humidity when we arrived at the Fort. The wind was light, but then picked up, which made it a bit chilly. But Stephanie & Jamie was up for the challenge :)

What a great couple! Thank you Stephanie & Jamie for putting up with the chilly wind and going along with our ideas.
