There’s something special about a young man who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to make an impact. Open, honest, responsible, and quietly confident, he has a way of letting his actions speak louder than words. Smart, thoughtful, and reserved, he carries himself with genuine kindness and respect for everyone around him.

He is observant, noticing the little things that others might miss, and smart enough to understand the world around him with quiet confidence.
Responsible and dependable, he has grown into someone others can count on. But perhaps what makes him most remarkable is that, through all of his growth and accomplishments, he has remained true to himself - kind, authentic, and genuine.
As he graduates from high school and steps into the next chapter of his life, there is so much to be proud of and even more to look forward to. He hasn’t quite decided on what his next chapter will look like yet, but there’s still lots of time to figure that out.

Every year we grow and learn and sometimes that means pivoting and making changes that just make sense. If it makes things easier and more convenient for us and our clients, well that’s just a “no brainer!”

What’s staying the same? We are! You’re still going to get the same great service, cheesy jokes and top quality images and creativity. That will never change.

What’s changing? The way we deliver your final images/digital files. This year we’ve switched to digital delivery. Once your session is edited, we will send you a Dropbox link to access and download your retouched high resolution digital files. You don’t need a Dropbox account to download them, but you can choose to create a basic Dropbox account for free. It’s up to you!We will provide simple instructions on how to download. We suggest creating a folder on your laptop/desktop (not your phone) with the grads name to download to. That way, your digital files will be easy to find and access at any time.
The option to purchase a USB to add on to your session is also available. The add on cost is $50.00.

He is funny, observant, and wonderfully inquisitive, always noticing the little things and asking questions that show just how curious he is about the world around him. His busy social life is a reflection of the joy he brings to others. He loves being surrounded by friends and family, sharing laughs, making memories, and being part of the world around him.
A true lover of baseball and swimming, he embraces the things that bring him happiness with enthusiasm and heart. But perhaps one of his greatest qualities is his resilience. He has faced challenges along the way, met them with determination, and continued moving forward with a strength that is uniquely his own.
And beside him through every step has been his incredible Mom, a woman who has poured her heart and soul into raising him, loving him, supporting him, advocating for him, and protecting him. Their bond is extraordinary. She has celebrated every achievement, stood strong through every challenge, and believed in him every step of the way. Her love has been a constant reminder that he is capable, valued, and deeply loved.

Let’s talk grad gowns

While most high schools, colleges and Universities have grad gowns that you can borrow/rent, we do keep a stock of certain size gowns for specific schools here at the studio. We wish we could stock all schools in all sizes to make it more convenient, but we just don’t have the space for storage.

We stock the following schools in the specified sizes;

LJR - 48 & 54
CCHS - 48 & 54
MMHS - 48
CRHS - 48 & 54
UdeM - 48 & 54
CCNB - 48 & 54
NBCC - 48 & 54

Size 48 - 5’3” - 5’8” up to 180lbs
Size 54 - 5’8” - 6’3” up to 230lbs

If the grad falls outside these sizes, you will need to get an appropriate size from the school to bring with you for your session.

Hair & Make-Up Tips

Hey guys and gals! Let’s talk hair and make-up for your grad session. We thought we would highlight some tips in preparation for your session.

When getting professional photos in a studio, contrary to popular belief, less make-up is best, especially if you don’t typically wear make-up. For those who choose to have their make-up professionally done or are trying something different themselves, we highly suggest a test run prior to your scheduled session date. Some who get their make-up done and then get their pictures back, feel it doesn’t look like them, therefore are not happy with their photos. We never want that to happen, which is why a test run is always best.

We also suggest NOT using a tanning bronzer (liquid or powder). Tanning bronzers tend to cast an orange hue under studio lights and in our experience, it’s never applied evenly over the whole face and usually ends at the jaw line and emphasizes the neck, which is never the same tone. Client expectations are that we can just easily blend it all in to match. Although we can blend to a certain point, it’s a lot of post-production works and is not covered in the basic retouching that is included with a session.

Same goes for hair. It’s best not to choose a new style the day of your session, in case it doesn’t turn out the way you hoped.

If you play hockey and your session is after the playoffs, for the love of all things holy, DO NOT shave your head or dye your hair blonde! I guarantee your Mom will not be happy! We speak from experience!

It all comes down to the fact that we want you to be happy with your session, so anything we can do or suggest to make that happen, we will.
