My favourite thing to hear after a session is “that was actually so much fun, it didn’t even feel like a photoshoot!”

But see, that’s the thing. It’s supposed to be fun! It’s supposed to feel like I’m just third wheeling your date night. Your photos are intentionally shot to look like you but most importantly, FEEL like you and your love. ❤️

I’ve had the pleasure (and the honour) of working with Kris & Karine on a few different occasions and honestly, I’ve never met two people more completely in love with each other than these two.

The kind of love you feel the second you walk into a room. The kind that has me emotional behind the camera and reminds me why I fell head over heels with documenting people in the first place. These two beautiful human beings are always one of the first couples that come to mind when I think about that feeling. A kind of love impossible to ignore and even more impossible to forget. ❤️

When I was making these, I realized just how much both sides of my life have intertwined beautifully. When I first started this business, there was a clear line between “clocked in” me and “clocked out” me. They co existed but the separation was bold. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I started sharing much more of my own life on here and things started shifting. I felt more of a connection with my clients, they felt like they knew me before meeting me and it added an extra level of comfort for them (and myself) knowing that the little bits and pieces I share are genuinely me. I love that you’re here and I love that I get to share this life with you all. 🥹
