This past weekend team Hi-Fi Racing - Fred Bernier #28 et 22 had a small crash in turn 5 at Mosport. Hit the rumble strip to hard, causing an ABS malfunction leaving him with no brakes at all. With the help of Équipe MB Performance/Charette AKA les SUPER MARIOS they worked most of the night to fix the car to be ready for the 8AM qualification for race #2 the following day.

Got it done and made it to qualification on time, unfortunately did not meet the minimum weight requirement, so started at the back of the grid.

Fred Bernier did amazing and managed to finish P8 overall and P2 in the senior category. Not bad for a guy with only 1 hour of sleep.

I want to thank everyone who helped by sharing parts, wrenching on the car or with knowledge to guide us, it’s amazing to see the Coupe Nissan Micra Cup community pull together and help a fellow racer. MERCI !
