Ahh I've been missing portrait and branding sessions!! I have been doing these a bit here and there amidst my busiest wedding season to date, but I am looking forward to really getting back to it this winter and spring! I have found these upcoming months are some of the best for these type of shoots and when there is the most need and desire for them.

It was only two months ago now that I quit my job to work full time freelance. I quit before I had a clientèle and before I was even known in the industry but it was still a decision Dan and I made carefully and we knew it was the right time.
About a month in I started becoming more active on here, knowing how powerful of a tool social media can be. And in that month, I had some amazing opportunities and met some great people because of it.
I think we're all craving to maintain a sense of normalcy. For me, part of that means using this platform just the same as I was, choosing to be hopeful for the future. I'm so sad over what's happening - how it's deeply affecting people and how scared people are. And like a lot of people, I don't know what my business/life will look like going forward. But as much as I'm able, I will choose to keep creating. To be informed, but not obsessed. And to keep my mind on what gives me life and not what makes me anxious.
For me that means keeping focus in my business, writing and playing music, taking photos, spending quality time with Dan, getting outside to walk the dog, and connecting with people 💕 What's giving you life?
