Capturing the vibrant streets of Mexico City with my faithful Ricoh GRii. Two years of ownership and this camera continues to impress. From spontaneous street shots to wedding moments, it's always with me. There’s always room in a pocket or a bag for it.

Need to shoot aurora 400 more often. Loved the 800 ISO version and the pastel colors coming out of the 400 are just as good. Really reminiscent of some good old Kodak Vision 3 but without the pain of being cinema film. Shooting with well corrected lenses like the 35mm Summicron ASPH and 50 Lux ASPH really make the colors pop. Medium contrast film, great colors, but still no numbers on the film strip unfortunately. At least I can yield 40 shots per roll!

Shot a roll of the Hollywood “Mexico” filter AKA Harmon Redscale 125. As you can see, the intensity of the red tint varies from one shot to the next, mainly due to my exposure discrepancies. Trying to get the colors right was difficult since there was little green saturation and literally zero blue, hence the extreme red tint.

IMHO I think this film was the result of Harman accidentally spooling a bunch of film the wrong way and then they labeled it as intentional. I placed the film emulsion side down on my scanner and found the shots all inverted, meaning that the film is indeed flipped the wrong way in the canister. Cool effect, with a glowy texture and a lot of grain.

No drones, just film 🎞️ Photos from the 6am hot air balloon ride over the Teotihuacán pyramids. Was debating whether to shoot color or black and white and I’m glad I stuck with color. Blew through that roll of Ektar 100 in no time!

When viewed on Google Earth, Lençóis Maranhenses appears to be a glitchy map. It's one of the most breathtaking locations I've had the privilege to visit. Carrying my drone through 9 flights and 18 days was all worth it to capture its beauty from above, and I believe the footage speaks for itself. This place is truly meant to be seen from a bird's eye view.

Know anyone in these snaps? First roll with Leica Monopan 50 film was all about street photography and portraits. The 75mm Summilux was my go-to lens.

This film loves contrast and blowing highlights, yet brings out the best in skin tones and finer details. It plays well with lenses like the 35 Summicron ASPH. The emulsion’s thinness is a blessing and a curse – more shots per roll, but needs handling with care. 38 shots per roll, but I’m aiming for 40 next time! 😤

The 75mm Summilux is indeed the king of micro contrast, and I'm thrilled to have finally tried it out! After 8 long years of near misses, came through, and I'm so grateful. This lens is a stunner on the M10-R and a perfect match for the SL2-S. One of its standout features is the golden multi-coatings, which beautifully offset the magenta cast of the SL2-S. The more I use it, the more I'm impressed by its unique characteristics: uniform performance, understated contrast, vivid saturation, and that gorgeous bokeh. I'll be sharing a more in-depth look at this lens soon, so stay tuned! Thanks

Street photography with a brick like the 500CM is all about anticipation. For this shot I stood there until the moment she made eye contact with the camera. I was so pleased to see how it came out!
