Ohhh the fun that was had with J&N last Sunday on Mont-Royal! 💍

First, the surprise wasn’t really a surprise, because this was, after all, the day of their 5th anniversary together. But the beauty of this kind of “not really a surprise” surprise proposal is that the very moment it finally happens, everything suddenly gets real, and nothing but joy and relief results.

Predictably, at 1:30pm, on such a beautiful day, the summit was packed with people in every direction! To say the least, it was no easy task to set up rose petals in the middle of it all! Not to mention, the wind was blowing the petals around, almost as soon as they hit the ground! But the kindest man suddenly appeared, and asked me what he could do to help me, and proceeded to keep people from walking on the remaining petals! I was so grateful!

And then J&N appeared, (to my relief!) which quickly shifted this love story to its new chapter. As you can imagine, upon seeing someone go to the knee, holding out a box with a ring, a fantastic roar of audience applause and cheers broke out, by the time they were locked in an engagement embrace. What a scene it was!!

This was the longest ring moment in my proposal history, since her promise ring had to come off before putting on her engagement ring. But I love how her face looked emotional as he was removing her promise ring, symbolizing the absolute reality of finally becoming engaged to marry the love of her life.

Finally, out came the bouquet, followed by a bit of twirling and whirling, next the champagne, and then we took off for a good time in and around the chalet.

Don’t get me started on the main character energy and presence of those magical clouds partnered with a special glow of light clearly meant just for them.

Documenting this age old timeless gesture of chivalry will always be a special honour to experience. Thankful every time! đŸ„č

After our wonderful dim sum hangout yesterday, I find myself reminiscing in StĂ©fanie & Steven’s pre-wedding photo collection from last Fall in Montreal.

It’s become a treat to wander into their delicious Japanese cafe downtown CAFÉ NOYA to satisfy my Japanese food craving, and hopefully run into S&S when they’re in house.

Now they’re on a countdown for their soft launch to open their new location in T&T in VSL. Can’t wait to check it out!

It’s a joy to stay connected with past clients and watch their lives flourish. Wishing them continued happiness together, and all the success!
