Since we moved to the US, my partner and I have been working on collecting our bike trips in the UK under a project we call “Whisky & Wheels”! We finally finished two days of our Outer Hebrides & Isle of Skye bike-packing tour, and we are pretty excited to relive every moment we spent in Scotland! Every summer, Ballater hosts a spectacle of the Highland Games. The summer of 2021 was no exception. Although it was on a smaller scale listening to bagpipes and watching various Highland folk dances was terrific!
