Résidait à l’étage en santé mentale de la Mission Old Brewery. Dès que je l’ai rencontré, il a apporté une présence chaleureuse et profondément humaine au projet. Avec son grand sens de l’humour, il a rapidement transformé la séance photo en un moment de complicité, enchaînant les expressions et les grimaces devant l’objectif avec une spontanéité complètement naturelle.
Un appareil photo jetable lui avait été confié afin qu’il puisse montrer sa propre vision du monde. Malheureusement, celui-ci a été perdu avant que les images puissent être développées. C’est une absence importante dans le projet, car j’aurais sincèrement aimé découvrir ce qu’il aurait choisi de photographier à travers son regard.

Living on the mental health floor of the Mission Old Brewery. From the moment I met him, he brought a warm and deeply human presence to the project. With his strong sense of humor, he quickly turned the photo session into a moment of genuine connection, constantly making funny expressions and faces in front of the camera with completely natural spontaneity.
He was given a disposable camera so he could share his own perspective on the world. Unfortunately, the camera was lost before the images could be developed. It remains an important absence within the project, as I would have sincerely loved to discover what he chose to photograph through his own eyes.
