Two years ago today, my family and I made some memories when we stepped on Main Street at the most magical place on earth, Disneyland.

Looking back, that vacation taught me three important things.

Take the vacation and make the memories.
The laundry, work, and daily responsibilities will always be there, but the memories you create with the people you love become the stories you talk about for years to come. Those joyful moments have a way of resurfacing exactly when you need them most. You never know what life is going to throw at you, which is why I truly believe in starting the savings now and making the trip happen when you can.
Experiences are worth the investment.
Trips like this can be expensive, but the experience is truly worth it. Stepping away from the ordinary and giving yourself permission to have fun, reconnect, and simply enjoy life is something money cannot replace.
Never lose your sense of wonder.
As adults, we often get caught up in responsibilities and worries. This trip reminded me what it feels like to laugh freely, try new things, and experience joy from the inside out. For a little while, the stress of everyday life faded away and we simply enjoyed being together.
If creating memories like this with your family is something you’ve been dreaming about, I would love to help make it happen. Becoming a travel agent was inspired by experiences like this one, and helping other families create their own magical vacations is something I truly love.
