I have been waiting wayyyy too long to share these photos - and I have no idea what to write because when I say this day was perfection, it’s no word of a lie 🥹

I knew who Jenna was as we lived in the same city, but I officially met her at the first wedding I shot, 4 years ago! so being asked to photograph her special day when I feel so aligned with the art I’m aiming to create and direction I’m trying to grow in, it all felt so full circle (plus her and Jens are just an absolute vibe so I was stoked) 🫶🏻

the day was spent at Hotel Sask in Regina, starting with them getting ready slowly in hotel, their families hanging out with them as day started to unfold, and the slow, relaxed pace just immediately told me the day would have the best vibe and flow to it!
a sweet ceremony with the most beautifully handwritten vows, my loud af polaroid going off in the middle of them, to their private first dance and dinner, all of it was the most romantic and love-filled day ✨

I don’t know if any of this makes sense; I’m still just in awe that this is my job and that I was able to work with the coolest couple and my fellow photog/videographer

Bre and I have ‘known’ each other/been in contact for a few years now because of a macrame piece I had ordered for my room, and we just quietly stayed in touch since then - so when she had reached out to me asking if i was available for their big day, it was an instant YES!

everything about B+T’s day was relaxed, intentional, and full of love. their beautiful ceremony was held in their backyard, overlooking the valley, with only their closest friends and family in attendance.
almost everyone hopped on the party bus to celebrate with the newlyweds as we headed to the park for photos before the reception - and damn, did we luck out with the most beautiful september day!

the love shared between B+T was so easy to see, from the quick, love-filled glances, squeezing each others hands as the marriage certificate was signed, and T picking out leaves and twigs from B’s (beautifulllll) dress 🥹

these are the days that have me so in love with photography, and the fact I’m lucky enough to call this a career.
I’m also so lucky to end up with clients who feel more like friends than just a paying client - it feels almost offensive to call them that!

B+T, thank you, once again, for having me there to capture your beautiful day - you’re the sweetest people, make everyone around you feel SO loved and cared for, and I’m wishing you all the best 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

even in the rain, these two + the love they have for each other was absolutely shininggg ✨

Emma + Tyce’s day may not have got right to plan, but their laidback personalities and simple joy for spending their special day with their closest people, nothing could put a damper on the incredible vibes!

I’m incredibly grateful for the people this job allows me to connect with - so much love to my swiftie bride and her new husband 🫶🏻

these are the weddings that truly bring me to life - the low stress, slow and intentional moments, where the timeline makes room for sunset photos and singing in the rain with your crew. where your wants and dream day are priority, moments are remembered and the smallest details are romanticized!

E+T OFFICIALLY TIE THE KNOT IN ONE MONTH - i am beyondd excited to kick off the summer weddings capturing these two and what will be their stunning lakehouse celebration 🫶🏻✨

as someone who once declared I’d never photograph weddings (lol @ past me) capturing these intimate weddings and elopements absolutely fills me with the most joy and I won’t ever take for granted the connections made over bringing your perfect day to light in a creative collaboration!

we are so close to kicking off 2025 wedding season, and I’m simply over the moon with the projects I have this year, plus the ones that are yet to come✨

this weekend I’m jetting off to calgary to shoot my first out of province wedding, so I’m feeling extra grateful for everyone who’s trusted me to document their special moments up to this point and it’s been a blast growing alongside you. I am sooo stoked to see where this year takes us with these photo adventures!

a beautiful friday today!
i’m so happy the sun is shining again, instantly taking me back to all of the incredible golden hour sessions from the summer 🌅 beach sessions of any kind will always be a major favourite of mine!

this is about to sound reallll cheesy, I know, but seeing vancouver… damn, the west coast completely stole a piece of my heart.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was there in november for my gal photography retreat/workshop - something so completely out of my comfort zone, and a place where I had to push myself through some physically and mentally exhausting moments, but wow was that momentary pain worth the eye opening feeling of “holy sh*ttttt, I just did that!!!!” when we made it back to our home for the weekend after feeling like I wouldn’t make it out of that rainy forest before we lost all light..
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
shoutout to the beautiful souls who encouraged me, let me feel all the feelings, carried my camera bag, and celebrated with me on an accomplishment I never planned on making 🥹🫶🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
for something that may seem small to others, it was definitely an eye opening experience, especially for someone who has admittedly let their chronic illness and pain stop them from chasing those exciting moments in life - it’s not easy to say, but I was damn proud of myself after the initial emotions subsided!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
since falling in love with the sweet intimacy of micro weddings - and realizing I actually really enjoyed stepping into an entirely new world with travel (new to me, anyways) - the dream of capturing elopements on the west coast has taken over both my brain and my Pinterest boards... so you know the obsession is real.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it’s a pretty decent 180 to go from a homebody and someone who swore they wouldn’t shoot weddings, to wanting to explore new places and capture your special wedding days - whether it’s just the two of you, or your closest friends and family, I am so freakin ready 👏🏻👏🏻
