Isn’t this family just the cutest?
Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend so far! I have a photoshoot this afternoon in Winnipeg so more photos will be coming to your feed soon 🩷 I don’t know about you but I’m enjoying this fall weather 🍂

Also sorry I’ve been MIA I had a horrible cold/flu not sure what it was but it had me down for a week. Thankfully I’m over it and feeling so much better!

The Krahn Family

Isn’t this family just the cutest, they were a lot of fun to photograph too! The day started a little rainy but by the time our session started all the rain cleared and although the ground was wet we still had a good time and got some amazing photos. Fall colors are some of my favorite, whether it’s outfits or the changing leaves outside 🍂

The Fehr Family

Golden hour sun, weather, outfits, everything was perfect for these beautiful family photos! Nettie and her family are quite literally the sweetest and kindest people. I’ve known Nettie for a few years now and every time I see her she always has a smile on her face and greets you with a big hug. If there is one word I could describe her as it would be love 🩷 Family is such a blessing, now more than ever I hope we never forget that!

💍5 Year Anniversary💍

Last week after I got off work I told Danny “we should see if we fit in our wedding clothes and if we do we can have a 5 years later photoshoot” SURPRISING my dress and his tux still fit and we had a cute little photoshoot right at sunset 🌅 Trying to take your own photos wasn’t the easiest task but it definitely made a lasting memory!! I am so blessed to have him as my husband, he is literally the BEST ❤️ I love you Danny, Happy Anniversary!

Jayden, Whiskey, + Peppy 🐴

I had so much fun capturing Jayden and her horses (also petting all the ones not pictured…there were MANY horses) 😆 Getting there was kind of a funny story so I put the address in my GPS and it takes me to some random road with very little service and I didn’t know where to go. Jayden was so kind to call and guide me where I needed to go from where the gps STRANDED me at. When I went into the pasture all the horses wanted to come check out my lens, it would’ve been funny to be able to hear their thoughts in that moment. Jayden is so good with horses and she is an INCREDIBLE rider. She has a lot of knowledge and she shares it by offering lessons to all ages . It felt so peaceful being out there, endless sky, and sunshine ☀️ Her and her horses ROCKED IT!

🎨Grace🖌️

I’ve known Grace Sukkau for 7 years because well … I’m married to her son. I remember the first time I saw a black and white painting of her family and was SHOCKED to find out she was the one who painted it (the detail was INSANE) 😱 Fast forward to earlier this year and we had talked about her joining an art show in September but she needed some social media pages to promote her art. I set her up an instagram, took her business photos, and now she is getting the final art pieces finished for her gallery 🖼️ If you or someone you know is interested in art go drop her a follow and make sure to check her out on September 13th from 10am-6pm and September 14th from 12-5pm at 1027 Mountain Ave in Winkler for the Pembina Valley Studio Tour 2025!

Hey there, it’s about time I did an introduction on here! My name is Lauren Sukkau and I’m 25 years old. Here are some fun facts about me:
1. I am from Texas but my husband was born and raised in Winkler 🤠
2 Me and my husband got married in 2020 and are celebrating our 5 year anniversary this month 💍
3. We have 2 angel babies and a golden retriever named Louie 👼🏼🐶
4. When I’m not photographing the most AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL people I am behind an espresso machine (who can say they get to do their 2 dream jobs) ☕️
5. I have a HUGE garden that I love so so much, in Texas the ground is so dry whatever you plant dies so this is new territory for me 🤣
6. I can sing and play 6 instruments (this is how me and my husband met, we did music livestreams) 🎶
7. I was born with a head full of JET BLACK hair 👶🏻
8. I’ve been to Ireland (forever will be my favorite trip) 🇮🇪
9. I love cherry ANYTHING 🍒
10. Peonies are my favorite flower 🌸

Jeremy and Greta 🌅

Golden hour, perfect landscape, and a perfect couple? A photographers dream! This technically was like a double date since I brought my husband to be the stand up comedian/personal assistant 🤣 We had an amazing time!! Jeremy and Greta have a love that just comes easy to them, they are literally the SWEETEST to each other! Quite literally a match made in heaven 💕 Also today is birthday so if you see her today or see this post please wish her a VERY Happy Birthday 🎂

🎓SHAYNA🎓

When Shayna reached out to me asking if I would be willing to take her photos in a creek that she frequents quite often I said 100% let’s do it! Watching her climb these rocks in a gown this size was honestly one of the most amazing thing’s I’ve ever seen. She is kind, smart, compassionate, hardworking, funny, adventurous, this girl right here is one of a kind and she is gonna go far 🩷

P.S. Next time I need meta glasses for photographers POV, I’m sure Shayna had a good laugh from me trying to navigate the rocks 😆 she was a trooper being so patient with me! It makes a difference when the people you photograph share stories and places because then I truly get to know them on a deeper level 🥺
