Yesterday, Saturday July 23, 2022 we were part of the Mount Forest Horticultural Society's annual Garden Tour. There is no perfect day to view a garden. Their schedule never coincides with your plans.
Yesterday this Datura - Devil's Trumpet - was tightly curled in its bud. This morning it bloomed.

The Holstein Mill pond has sprung a leak. The dam was built to power the feed mill and a flume ran underground from the dam under the mill and back into the river. The plug they put in the flume after the mill stopped using water power failed.
Now we have discussions are to how to fix it. Land owners, Southgate Township, Saugeen Conservation and Grey County all have input on how to fix it.
Meanwhile the pond has drained.
A lone fisherman was not going to be deterred by the fact the pond was almost gone.

ISO roofer for small shed. Approx 10 x 14 feet. 3 skylights. I have the steel for the roof but no flashing or flashing material.
Located in Holstein.

When I was in Toronto yesterday I noticed all these shrines fenced off. There was a tree in the centre and the ground was covered with burnt offerings. Occasionally a worshiper would drop and leave their mask. I never saw anyone worshipping at one or leaving an offering.
