📸 A little busy-season update!
As we head into the busiest part of the year and the where are the sneak peek messages come in again, I wanted to share a quick note about sneak peeks in that I personally don't offer them.

I know how exciting it is to see just one photo after your session or wedding day, and I completely understand the anticipation! However, this time of year is incredibly busy behind the scenes. I have weddings every weekend (and sometimes multiple!), along with sessions throughout the week. Once those shoots are finished, there is a LOT that goes into getting your gallery ready like backing up, culling, organizing, carefully editing and preparing hundreds (sometimes thousands) of images.
I work on galleries in the order they come in, and I do this intentionally to make sure every client receives their gallery within the promised turnaround time and whenever possible, early. 💕

Creating a sneak peek means pulling a gallery out of that workflow, culling specifically for a handful of images, editing them separately, exporting and preparing them for posting. While it may seem like just a few photos, it adds another step to an already very full editing schedule.

So, rather than spending that time creating sneak peeks, I’m putting that time directly into your full gallery.

I promise the wait will be worth it, and I’m so excited for you to see your entire gallery when it’s ready!

UPDATE: Thank you to Barnesville Bushels. They have so graciously invited us on to the property for photos and we are incredibly grateful. They clearly have big hearts and we hope you all support them this fall season. Thank you to everyone else who tagged and also offered their support.
I need your help one more time 🫶🏻 🍎
Before Kaylas trip, we are trying to get some fresh photos with her children before her treatments ultimately take a toll on her body. She has taken her oldest apple picking every year since birth and we are looking for a private space or somewhere after hours she can have this possibly (but hopefully not) last time doing tradition with her babies. Its her youngest's first time 🥺 We are hoping for some time tomorrow evening or Monday. If you can help me make this happen for her it would be greatly appreciated. We would love to preserve this memory for her as a Keepsake for her boys 🍎🫶🏻

Kaylas Cancer Fundraiser final update! 💜
We raised $6400!!!
All of this money is now safely in Kayla's hands and going to be used towards her treatments in Mexico. For anyone who would like to donate who did not get to enter the draw please see her GoFundMe as every little bit still counts towards hitting that big goal.
I know Kayla is ever so thankful and I am thankful for all of you as well.
The draw will be done tonight as I try to figure out how to do my first live 🫶🏻 Kaya, we all love you and are all 💜💜💜

Kayla's Cancer Fund Day 4 Update!
We have now surpassed $5000 🫶🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻
The total to date is now $5500. WOW 🥺

The amount of messages and support I've taken in wishing all the best for Kayla and all the prayers being had for her is overwhelming in the best way. I am so proud of our little city and surrounding areas for coming together for Kayla.

So many mothers and fathers have shared their sympathy and can empathize with the weight a diagnosis like this puts on a parent with 2 young beautiful children. I know it will be a fight but with this kind of support at least it will be a fight she can financially do 💪🏼 Tomorrow after 2pm I will not be accepting donations personally as I will be doing the draw tomorrow evening. I will direct anyone who would like to continue to support Kayla to her Go Fund Me. That said, there is still time to get some tickets (please see previous posts for ticket and donation information).

Again, I cannot thank you enough for helping Kayla get one step closer to being there as long as she can for her boys and herself 🫶🏻
