This Harbour Porpoise didn't stand a chance during a recent trip out into the Salish Sea! She took this porpoise down in a few quick minutes. After snacking, she and her son T019B Galiano continued travelling.

T49A1 (Noah) during my first day back on the water this season.

Noah has always been a favourite of mine. He was the very first whale I was able to show to my younger sister. During that encounter, he kept circling us over and over. I've never had him do that before or since. It was such a great introduction to the sea for her.

We were spoiled with a gorgeous T-party (gathering of multiple Biggs orca pods) on July 21st. There was lots of splashing and tail slapping, and much to our surprise, they were actually talking for most of the encounter as well! I've only heard the Biggs orca talk to eachother one other time during the last few seasons on the water, so this was amazing!
