From the excitement of getting ready, to saying “I do” with the ocean stretching out behind them, to the most elegant reception surrounded by all their favourite people. 🤍🥂🍾

We shared a little peek at these two a few weeks ago, but there was so much more to this day that we couldn’t wait to share.

Every part of this day felt thoughtful, curated, and completely full of love. The little moments before the ceremony, that incredible oceanfront setting, and a reception space that was absolutely stunning.

Such a beautiful celebration from beginning to end, and one we feel so lucky to have captured. ✨

A little West Coast magic 🌿✨

Tucked into the forest, beside the river and beneath the waterfall, this day felt like everything we love about photographing weddings on the Island. Wild, romantic, peaceful, and so incredibly beautiful.

And somehow it felt extra special being surrounded by so many lovely people, with a few familiar faces among the guests and vendors too. 🤍

How many seals can you spot? 🦭👀

There’s something extra special about documenting a family every time they find their way back to the Island. 🤍

Whenever this sweet family comes to Vancouver Island to visit they make time for family photos together, three generations, one very adorable little guy, and memories that get a little more precious with every visit.

And this session came with a little Vancouver Island magic of its own…🦭🥹 Of course, they had to make an appearance in the gallery too.

Golden hour, wide open fields, and a vintage truck 🤍

The light kept changing on us all day, and we had our fingers crossed that golden hour would make an appearance… and wow, did it ever show up. ✨
