We had such fun celebrating this joyful boy last week! That and thankfully what turned out to be only a precautionary trip to the ER via ambulance (Praise Jesus for protection and that kids are bouncy 🙌🏻).
Cake photos in the yard as per tradition (I have to track down last year’s images that I didn’t get to posting…)
Here’s to being Five, full of energy, witty one-liners and a heart of gold! And noooo I did not bake this cake that was requested the morning of. Love you Buddy!

Returning clients bless me so much! This is the third year in a row that I’ve had the joy of photographing this special family - now a family of 5! I love seeing how the kids have grown each year and getting to know them a little bit more each session. My boy is 5 years old today! You light up our home, and bring joy to so many around you! ‘Kind-hearted Kaleo’ as your teacher calls you, you are so thoughtful and love to help out - especially with mowing the lawn and shovelling snow! You love all things ‘army’ and ‘construction’, riding your bike, jumping and hanging upside-down off anything you can, learning to swim and learning about animals. I love you so much, my buddy, and can’t wait for another year of fun and adventure! So grateful to God for you! Swipe to see the sweetest little freckles appearing ❤️

Last day of Grade 1 and JK today! I had to take a moment to document Remi’s lost teeth / social tooth that’s on the way out, bruises from all the climbing and hanging on the monkey bars and Kaleo’s war wounds (he’s fine, thankfully). I’m so proud of these kiddos and the way they have grown this past year. Thank you Lord for bringing us through another year! Bring on the Summer and more adventures with these two!
