Some things align so perfectly it feels divinely orchestrated. Moving next to you could not have unfolded in a more sacred way. Out of all the places in the world, our paths crossed side by side — and that doesn’t feel accidental. It feels like soul timing.

I’ve found such a true and beautiful friend in you. Your heart is pure gold, the kind that radiates warmth without trying. Your presence feels grounding and expansive at the same time — safe, yet freeing. I feel incredibly lucky and deeply grateful that the universe placed us in each other’s orbit.

You are a strong and free spirit — untamed in the best way, guided by something deeper than fear. You move through life with courage and authenticity, and it inspires me. There is a light in you that can’t be dimmed, and I see it. I honor it. And I’m thankful our journeys are intertwined in this chapter.

What an extraordinary way to welcome the New Year. From the moment we arrived, the space felt intentional, warm, and alive with connection. I met so many wonderful people throughout the evening—open-hearted, authentic souls who made the experience feel even more expansive and meaningful. The night unfolded like a sacred journey, beginning with grounding presence, flowing through somatic yoga, and opening our hearts with ceremonial cacao and shared intentions.

As the evening deepened, the dance floor became a living prayer: bodies moving freely, joy and release pulsing through ecstatic dance, guided by the powerful soundscapes of and , and culminating in a soulful B2B set with live instrumentation that carried us right into midnight. The countdown wasn’t just a moment—it was an embodied celebration of unity, love, and collective intention.

We crossed into the New Year together, dancing, feeling, and remembering what it means to truly belong. The closing sound healing and integration circle offered a gentle landing, weaving stillness and gratitude into every cell. This wasn’t just a NYE celebration—it was a remembering. A reminder that we matter, our presence is sacred, and when we gather in authenticity, something truly magical is amplified.

I’m so excited to share these images! Photography and dance create a kind of magic together, and capturing these moments for Dance Portal has been an honour.

Dance Portal became my sanctuary during a difficult time—when I couldn’t sit still long enough to meditate, movement became my medicine. It brought me back to myself, and I’m endlessly grateful for that.

What is Dance Portal?
An intentional free-flow dance space for authentic expression, community, and connection. A sober, supportive environment guided by Amber Wolf Moon and Felix Bourbeau, open to all levels and all hearts.

My mission is simple: to get your photos off your socials for the world to see and back into your home as artwork that matters for your family to enjoy.

I keep thinking about that feeling I’d get walking into Grandma’s house… the way our images were hung with so much intention and love. It wasn’t just decoration. It was a reminder that we mattered, that we belonged, that we were cherished. Do you know that feeling?

We attended our first-ever Leafs game now that Grey is a bit older, allowing us to stay out a little later! It was an amazing experience—the seats were packed, and the energy was electric. Unfortunately, they lost 3-1, but it was still a fantastic game!

Most importantly, we were there to support the Nelson & Area Friends of the Family Foundation for their 25th anniversary. Through Authentic Living Photography, I contributed by participating in the auction, and by the end of the night, my auction card was full. I feel blessed to have been able to support such a worthy cause.

In 2000, a few local families came together with a simple goal: to give back to the community that had supported them during their own times of crisis. From that act of compassion, the Nelson & Area Friends of the Family Foundation was born. Over the past 25 years, they have assisted hundreds of families with travel and emergency costs when a child is seriously ill or injured. If you are able to support, please donate, as it such an amazing cause!
