Be Transformed
As I continue to read I see there was a lot more going on than just walking through the Dr Sun Yat-sen Gardens. The Moon Gates circular shape represents heaven and perfection. Passing through is a symbolic transition. The gate has Yin and Yang Balance: circular opening balanced by the surrounding square. The harmonious balance of opposites. All that and it looks great also!

The Chinese Classical Gardens were a means for Scholars to experience nature within their urban environment. Bamboo is a symbol of traditional values - reflecting people’s souls and emotions, virtue. Walking through the gardens there are clusters of bamboo within the structures creates a very calming feel.
