Some shoots stay with you long after you pack up your camera bag.

Jacob reached out to me months ago with a plan: he wanted to propose to Jackie somewhere that felt like her. Because Jackie loves flowers, we visited Janet Tuenschel and found the perfect spot, on top of a hill overlooking the fields at sunset.

When the moment finally happened, it felt surreal. The disbelief, the way they couldn't stop smiling at each other...

This is the part of my job I can't quite put into words. It’s never just about beautiful photos. It’s about preserving the feeling.

This location was perfect for S + F's engagement session. The lighthouse symbolizes her roots back home in Newfoundland, making it an especially meaningful backdrop for their photos.

It never gets old meeting my clients in person for the first time, seeing that mix of excitement and nerves as we start the session. Within minutes, though, the nerves fade, the laughs come naturally, and I get to witness the connection that makes every couple unique.

Today is for the mums 🤍

The ones who show up every single day… even when they’re exhausted.
The ones who carry so much, physically, mentally, emotionally, often without anyone seeing half of it.

The ones who comfort, guide, protect, teach, juggle, sacrifice, and somehow keep going through all the messy, beautiful, challenging seasons of motherhood.

I’m not a mum myself, but spending so many years documenting these moments has given me a glimpse into just how much you do… and honestly, I’m in awe.

To all the incredible mums I’ve had the honour of photographing, thank you for letting me witness the love, the chaos, the tenderness, the strength, and the deep connection that lives in the in-between moments.

You are doing more than you know.

One of those perfect spring afternoons, sunny, calm, not too warm, just easy. They kept things small with their closest people, and it felt so personal and full of meaning.

They did a little first look before their ceremony, and you could feel the nerves right up until they saw each other. Then it all faded and made space for excitement. It was the sweetest shift, and honestly, they were such a joy to photograph ♡

Looking back at these now, I can’t believe it’s almost been a year. It makes me appreciate these kinds of celebrations even more.

I’m really looking forward to all the weddings ahead in 2026 and 2027. And if you’re planning something for this year, big or small, I still have room for a few more and would love to connect!

Noah + Kaelyn ♡

Almost two years ago, during a completely unrelated conversation, Noah casually told me he was planning to propose to Kaelyn. I half joked that if they ever needed engagement or wedding photos, I’d love to chat.

He reached out after the proposal. We had the sweetest engagement session. Kaelyn and I bonded right away. And before that shoot was even over, they asked me to photograph their wedding.

Fast forward to April 10th.
An intimate, jaw dropping celebration with their closest friends and family. So much intention. So many quiet, meaningful moments. The kind of day that doesn’t need anything extra because everything already matters.

Being part of their story from that very beginning made this one extra special. Just a small handful of previews from a really beautiful day!
