I'm definitely cleaning out my photograph closet, so to speak! Here are some photos from the May 10th Northern Lights show that graced our presence by surprise!

Obviously, I am a Northern Lights-lover 😏and as soon as my Aurora app stated the KP was at an 8, I ran into the house to grab my equipment. I don't think I've ever run so fast into the house in my life.

As you can see, there was a big cloud coming in, so my view lasted about a whole 45 minutes. I couldn't stop looking and just took in the moment. We were already blessed with the eclipse being in totality where we are located, so this was an additional treat!

I know, I know - it's been a while! I will do a better job sharing my adventures with you all. Starting off with our trip to British Columbia in March 2024.

It was my first time in BC, and the views were amazing! My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary in The Okanagan Valley, and this place has HUGE views! I did not know where to look when we were traveling down Highway 97. We stayed in Kelowna but took a day trip to Osoyoos as well. Osoyoos is popular for being "Canada's Warmest Welcome!" all in all, a very cool place to be. I took a piece of BC home with me, and my heart sinks whenever I hear about wildfires. We spoke to a lot of winery owners and they were struggling with their crops and were hoping this summer was good, as last summer was not. My heart definitely goes out to them, because they all work so hard to bring the best out of British Columbia for all of us to enjoy.

I wanted to share my first time seeing the mountains with you. :)
