It’s friends!
This month marks 6 years since diagnosis. Six years of getting more comfortable in this body, exactly as it is.
I’ve had this bodysuit for years. I’ve never worn it. I always talked myself out of it - so worried about how others would see my chest, what they’d think looking at it. But this year I’m challenging myself to embrace the deep necklines; wear what I love, chest out and all, regardless of how it looks to anyone else.
After all, this body is mine, and it’s been through a heck of a lot. I’m not here for anyone’s approval. ✌🏼
Take the time today to do a breast self-exam. Check your breasts, chest, pecs, armpits and all the way up to your collarbone for any changes. Get to know your body - the more you know your normal, the more likely you’ll know when something feels off.
Trust your gut.
Push for more tests if you feel that’s what you need.
Ask questions until you fully understand.
Choose yourself and your health.
And remember:
You’re not too young!
