Elopement Tips:
~Location. Where you get married is one of the most important decisions you’ll make during wedding planning. Choose a location with special meaning. Ask yourself these questions to choose the perfect location:
~What time of year do you want to get married? -Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter?
Where? -Forest, mountains, edge of a cliff, on a beach, in a field, at a cottage, backyard, provincial park?
~This beautiful couple chose Victoria’s family’s property. The open field and beautiful forest background made for beautiful photos!
Timeline. Having a flexible timeline means you leave room for soaking in the moment, the magic of your wedding day, and embracing how far you and your partner have come.
~Vision. When planning your wedding please make sure you create the vision YOU want, not what your parents or what anyone thinks you should do…this is about what YOU and your partner want. On your wedding day you want to be doing ONLY the things you and your partner love and want to experience. So you picture yourself flying in a helicopter to the top of a Canadian Rocky Mountain to exchange your wedding vows…DO IT! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! IT’S YOUR DAY! Seriously though I am so down for any adventures you and your partner have planned. A mountain top elopement would be so spectacular, fun, and the epic views would make for breathtaking wedding photos!
Your wedding day should be spent creating memories and experiences that make you feel happy and alive. IT’S YOUR WEDDING, NOT THEIRS. BE KIND, BUT DON’T TRY TO PLEASE EVERYONE.
Elopements are a great way to have fun and focus on just the two of you! 💞
🕊What things would you incorporate to personalize your wedding day to make it magical?
