Some sessions just feel like they’re about more than photos and this was one of them.
I had the privilege of photographing the celebration of Sophie and Carson’s first home together, along with their engagement session, two milestones that feel big on their own, and even more meaningful side by side.
We kept things simple and focused on them, how they naturally fall into step together, the quiet confidence, the laughs that don’t need prompting. There’s something really grounding about photographing people who are building a life at the same time they’re planning one.
You could feel it throughout the session, this mix of comfort and excitement. Not just about the ring or the house, but everything those things represent.
