Mom & Me and Dad & Me sessions are underway and going great! I'm loving how the simple sets showcase the people, all the hugs and cuddles and tickles! My new backdorp for preschool graduation sessions has arrived, and it's super cute. Those will start in June and run for the whole month for $45. Another new addition to our packages is mini sessions for newborns! I had a lot of requests for something simple and more affordable, so these sessions are only a few minutes long. You choose a single color and i will have three sets ready to go when you arrive. We will swaddle baby in your chosen color and shoot the three sets in rapid succession, and a free family pose is included, $200! I've already run a few trials and it works great. Designed for newborn babies under 2 weeks old (or adjusted age of 2 weeks for premies)

My inbox is full of people asking about Mommy and Me sessions for Mother's Day, so it is time to make a post! Sticking with the package I offered last year, as it was popular, I will be doing an "All-in-One" style again. This means I will have a set for Mother's day, and a set for Father's day both set up at the same time! That means you get two sessions for the price of one, and you only have to wrangle the family in once! I don't have pics yet as Im just placing my orders, but I have decided to go minimalist this year. For one set it will be a rich cocoa colored paper backdrop and the other will be "Blue jean" colored paper, both with cream colored seating. I will leave it up to you which portraits you want on which set. With a minimalist design, the focus will be on tickles, cuddles, hugs, and snuggles. Running from May 4th until Father's Day, only $75!

Easter Minis!!
My apologies for being late posting the baby/toddler sets. It's a good sign for 2026 that I have been kept too busy lately with sessions and editing to find the extra time, but I got 'er done! These two tiny sets are for the smallest ones. Babies that can't sit yet can be put in baskets or buckets. Easter mini sessions are running all March long, 7 days a week from 10am-7pm. Just message the date/time you would like and I will get back to you.

My Littlest Valentine paid me a visit in the studio so we could show you our Valentine's Day backdrops. First, we have a lovely bench setup where you can snuggle together with your own little Cupid on a fresh and colorful blue backdrop. Then, the children can pose in front of the Red Hearts wall and have some fun throwing petals around. And on the Pink Heart wall they can blow confetti at the camera. And finally, take a relaxing pose on the Red Floor while they have petals raining down on them! Lots of fun! I will also have some smaller sets ready for the ones who aren't quite big enough for these poses.

Valentine's Day is all set up in the studio. But I have been so busy with sessions I haven't had a chacne to wrangle my model into a cute outfit to take pictures of it. Today it was an adorable "One Sweet Valentine" themed cake smash that kept me busy. Tomorrow it will be catching up on all that editing.

So, maybe Tuesday I will finally be able to get the sample portraits up for you. I could just say "trust me, bro. It's cute, book anyway", but I know you'd rather see what you are getting. Stay tuned! Or, book anyway. You know it's going to be cute! Valentine's sessions will be $60 this year for more portraits than you will know what to do with.

There's no time to slow down after the holiday madness, not when the next holiday is just weeks away. My orders are placed, and there is so much Valentine's Day cuteness on the way that you are not going to want to miss out on! I'm working on offering five setups, and there will be so much heart-shaped confetti and rose petals to throw around, so you know the children are going to have fun. And I'll keep it very affordable too, I know we are all poor this soon after Christmas. I'll be posting the different sets over the next week or two as my supplies and backdrops arrive, and it will run from January 24th until February 15th. And once that is done we will be "hopping" right into Easter on March 1st-April 1st!

On this Throwback Thwednesday, I came across this adorable picture of our favorite model, taken long ago in 2015.

On December 31st, 2015, we did the scariest thing we could have imagined at the time, and signed our first lease on a studio! I still remember how scared I was, but also how excited and hopeful I was too. I was mostly certain that if we took the leap, it would somehow all work out. And now it is that same day in 2025, and we are still here! I'm so thankful that I get to spend my time doing what I love, and I want to extend the warmest gratitude to you all, from all of us here at Creative Isle. What an incredible decade it has been - let's make the next ten years even more fantastic!
