In 2014, our family stood awestruck under a lit installation outside the VCC, but saw only a magical entity that defied gravity, hovering in one place while its lines gracefully danced in the night sky next to a big red circle that spelled “T-E-D”.
In 2026, while in line for a coffee on Day 1 of the conference, I chatted with a lady who told me about her sculpture that hung from the ceiling outside the main theatre. I looked at where she was pointing and saw it was one and the same, circa 2014. It was a full TED circle moment.
4 years looping the floors of the VCC, navigating the “secret”passages that swiftly got me from A to B, being in the presence of greatness like Malala Yousafzai….the best part is doing this together with an absolute dream of a team this farewell year ( // Laura & Kim from In-kind // Models Lisa and Adam).
