How many photos should you expect from a wedding gallery?

One of the most common questions I get, so here’s a straight answer.

For a full wedding day (8 hours), you can expect somewhere between 500 and 800 edited photos in your gallery.

That number varies based on the size of the wedding, how many events are happening, and the pace of the day. A 200-person wedding with a full reception will naturally produce more than an intimate ceremony with 30 guests.

What I don’t do is pad a gallery with near-identical shots just to hit a number. Every photo I deliver is one I’d be comfortable printing. If there are 20 frames of the first dance, I’m giving you the 5 best, not all 20.

Quality over quantity. Always.
