With petite's people want to know, what do I get and why can't I choose where it is? Well, here's the what and why about petite (also called mini) sessions.

If a quick session is best for you and your family these are the types of sessions you should book. They are at a special location and at the best time of day for the most beautiful images. I hope this little client education series helps because I think sometimes when you're in the photographer bubble you forget not everyone knows what different types of sessions mean and who they serve best.

If you have questions - ask them! I'd love to continue this as a series to help everyone learn some more about the photography world and make it as accessible as possible.

I've been feeling a pull lately. Towards more, towards different and feeling more from my photos.

I'm in a season of growth and boy can I feel it right now. I thought this was the season of blooming but I think, for lack of a better less cheesy metaphor, my garden is ever growing and blooming at the same time.

I'm investing in myself and my business. Learning from others and figuring out what my work not only looks like but feels like. I'm excited to share this with you and I hope the road I'm travelling down is a journey you'll join me on.

Please, let them be kids! Funny faces, climbing on dad and getting chased by their older sibling is going to be so much better for photos than standing still, saying cheese and bribing them with candy.

Ok, candy can be used but it's so much better to be in the moment instead of waiting for the next.
