I've been feeling a pull lately. Towards more, towards different and feeling more from my photos.

I'm in a season of growth and boy can I feel it right now. I thought this was the season of blooming but I think, for lack of a better less cheesy metaphor, my garden is ever growing and blooming at the same time.

I'm investing in myself and my business. Learning from others and figuring out what my work not only looks like but feels like. I'm excited to share this with you and I hope the road I'm travelling down is a journey you'll join me on.

When your daughter calls you after a hard night with her baby. You'll want to flip through your albums be happy you let the photos be taken.

Please, let them be kids! Funny faces, climbing on dad and getting chased by their older sibling is going to be so much better for photos than standing still, saying cheese and bribing them with candy.

Ok, candy can be used but it's so much better to be in the moment instead of waiting for the next.

You don't have to ask - yes your dog can be in the photos with you.

They are part of the family and often, the baby before the baby. Don't worry if they don't cooperate at first either, they're welcoming a stranger into their home that has a weird clicky thing attached to their face. They don't have to "stay" or "sit", they'll come when they're ready.
