And no, direction isn’t just telling someone where to put their hands.

It’s knowing how to make someone relax.

It’s knowing when to give guidance and when to stop talking.

It’s knowing how to get a genuine laugh instead of the awkward “say cheese” smile we’ve all seen a thousand times. 😂

Because the truth is, most people aren’t comfortable in front of a camera.

They show up saying:

🤍 “I’m awkward.”
🤍 “I have no idea how to pose.”
🤍 “Please tell me what to do.”

And honestly? Perfect.

There is just something so special about a room full of women showing up to celebrate another woman. 🤍✨

Nasim’s baby shower was absolutely beautiful, and days like this are exactly why I love event photography so much. The details are gorgeous, of course…but it’s the candid moments that get me every single time.

The laughter, the hugs, the little side conversations, the happy tears, the people who are genuinely so excited for this next chapter.
Those are the moments I live for.

It was such an honour to capture this celebration and document so much love surrounding Nasim and her growing family. 💕

Also, can we take a second to appreciate a woman who somehow manages to do it all? Because not only is she preparing for baby, she’s also an incredible realtor.
