Hi and welcome to all the new faces here 🤍

I thought it might be a good time to introduce myself a little more personally!

I’m a mom of two busy boys, ages 9 and 7, which means life is basically sports… all the time! And honestly? I love every second of it. Our weekends are filled with tournaments, games, early mornings, snacks in the car, and cheering from the sidelines.

Before photography, I was a professional dancer and model. I retired from my dance career at 30, but still do a little modelling here and there because I truly love both sides of the camera. Being in front of the camera has helped shape the way I work behind it, especially when it comes to portrait photography.

I know being photographed can feel vulnerable. That’s why creating a fun, relaxed, comfortable experience matters just as much to me as the final images themselves. There’s no bigger compliment than hearing someone say they actually enjoyed their session.

I’ve also been married for 10 years to the most supportive husband, who saw from the very beginning that photography sparked something in me after leaving the stage. And he was right ✨

One of the things I love most about photography is that it continues to evolve and grow alongside me. It’s creative, emotional, challenging, inspiring, and it feels like exactly where I’m meant to be in this season of life.

There’s something so special about the bond between grandparents & grandchildren 🤍

The joy, laughter, and love shared between them is completely effortless — and you can feel it in every photo. These sessions are always filled with so many sweet moments and genuine connection, making them such a privilege to capture.

I absolutely love being a part of preserving these memories for families to treasure for generations to come.

A few highlights from my camera from yesterday!

Last night’s headshot exchange was such a refreshing reminder of how special this creative community is ✨

An evening spent with fellow photographers…capturing each other, sharing ideas, collaborating, and pushing creativity together. The night began with an inspiring talk by .its.claire, followed by a beautiful evening out on the farm surrounded by the most incredible sunset light.

I always leave these nights feeling inspired, energized, and so grateful to connect with other creatives who truly understand the passion behind what we do!!!

A growing team deserves updated branding photos!

I recently photographed this incredible RBC Wealth Management team at the golf course as they prepare to launch their new website and celebrate their growth from 3 team members to 5!

The outdoor setting added so much warmth and personality to their images, with endless opportunities to capture beautiful moments around the views, clubhouse, and golf course. Professional, welcoming, and authentic — exactly the energy they wanted their clients to feel.

We had so much fun capturing this exciting new chapter together. Congratulations on your growing team! ⛳️✨

There’s something so inspiring about working with women who are building big things!!

I recently had the opportunity to do a branding session with Gwen, who is investing in the image and growth of her company — and it shows. She came prepared, confident, and ready to bring her vision to life.

Watching all the amazing things she’s doing with EdBridge has been so exciting, and it’s been such a privilege to be a small part of her journey as her business continues to grow.

We captured so many great moments together and honestly had the best time doing it. I love creating images that reflect the passion, professionalism, and personality behind a brand.

There is something so magical about maternity sessions ✨

Watching a woman carry new life is one of the most beautiful reminders of what our bodies can do. Strength, softness, love, and a whole lot of glow all in one moment. 🤍

This session was full of laughter and so much joy. These two made it impossible not to smile behind the camera — the kind of couple that just radiates excitement for what’s ahead!!

And of course… we have to talk about the final photo 🐾
Their sweet pup made a very enthusiastic appearance and brought ALL the energy. I think she might be the most excited family member to meet baby girl!

This past weekend felt nothing short of magical. I had the honour of photographing 8 oncology families🎗️ Each walking a unique path, each carrying their child through a chapter no family ever expects to face.

To be invited into these moments is a profound privilege. Some sessions marked strength in the midst of treatment, some celebrated the joy of clear scans, and others commemorated the beautiful milestone of completing treatment.

These children radiate resilience in a way that takes your breath away. Their families show a level of courage and love that is nothing short of extraordinary.

I’m endlessly grateful to witness these stories and freeze these powerful moments in time. ✨💛

I still can’t get over the magic that came out of this family session.
The day was windy, cold, and threatening rain from start to finish… but we stuck to the plan, showed up anyway, and it turned into something even more beautiful than I hoped.

Those turbulent skies added so much depth and dimension — the kind you just can’t plan for, but always hope for.

A huge shoutout to the daughter who brought her creative ideas and confidence to the shoot. I love when kids share their vision… it makes the images so personal, so meaningful, and so true to who they are.

And of course, this session wouldn’t have been complete without two beautifully chaotic puppies stealing the show.
