My dad: genius-level smart, world-class silly, and part-time stand-up comic. His smile lights up the room, his jokes are questionable (but committed and somehow always get a laugh . His heart is always wide open. He’s the best grandpa, the biggest kid, and the guy who always shows up. He’s so fun with his grandkids friends come and hang out with him on a weekly basis he’s the only grandpa I know that gets a shout out on the mic at the high school hockey game for coming to watch.

He worked hard, loved harder, and somehow never ran out of time for us—unless he was elbows-deep in a spreadsheet or researching the perfect shoe rack for 15 hours straight (because only one could be optimized for airflow and family harmony).

Because of him, I knew exactly what kind of man I wanted to raise a family with.

Nathan the best dad I could have asked for my kids . hockey dad, hockey coach, dance dad, and full-time chaos coordinator. He’s the life of the party and the one who’s keeps everything together . The fun one, the safe one, and the “let’s go make a memory” kind of dad.

He’s always doing something with the kids — at the rink, outside on a hike or at the lake or making food for everyone to share or doing something for a friend or family member . He’s the hardest worker I know, and he’ll do anything to make sure our family has everything we need — and everything we dream of.

Whether he’s tying skates, blasting music, in the hot-tub, making his lawn is pristine , or putting out literal fires — he’s all in. Every day. Every time.

He works hard, plays harder, and lives for his crew.

Happy Father’s Day to the legends. The blueprint and the forever team captain. ❤️

Another year of hockey has ended and for some of our teammates the end of minor hockey . 🥺

What an incredible hockey season it has been! We are beyond proud of how Cohen grew as a player, both on and off the ice. The memories made, the friendships formed, and the special bond the boys shared will last a lifetime. 🏒

We are so grateful to have been part of such a great team, surrounded by the best supportive coaches, wonderful parents, and, of course, an amazing group of players.

A huge shoutout to the 2nd and 3rd-year players who were such kind and inclusive role models for the 1st-year boys from the get go.

Although we came so close to provincials and didn’t make it, we couldn’t be more thankful for the experiences and growth throughout the season.

Cohen’s playoffs came to an unexpected end after a freak accident during the game, with a skate running over his forearm . After a trip to the hospital and stitches, we are just thankful it wasn’t worse and that it wasn’t the other side of his arm😳.

It was tough for him to watch from the sidelines the rest of the weekend, but even with that, he says it’s been his best year in hockey yet.

We are so proud of you Cohen & everything you’ve accomplished this season!

Cowboy Maverick’s bday today reminded me I didn’t post about this epic Western theme shoot we did in October . always does an amazing job coordinating everybody’s outfits and props to make my job super easy ! Making history! Huge congratulations to Jessica Campbell, the FIRST WOMAN to coach a game in the NHL!i had the privilege photographing and meeting this trailblazer at NHL training camp in Kelowna this summer and we all can’t be more inspired! Her dedication, passion, and perseverance are paving the way for future generations of women in hockey. What an incredible milestone!
